The Atlanta Workforce Development Agency (AWDA) provides job search assistance to job seekers. The AWDA staff are trained career advisors to assist you. To access these services you must complete a five (5) step process:
- Complete the online One-Stop application
-Monday through Sunday at least on hour prior to the
mandatory orientation session, which begins at 8:30 am.
- Complete the mandatory AWDA orientation session
-The orientation is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
- Visit AWDA for a counseling session with one of our Career Advisors
(Please bring your resume if you have one)
- Work History, Credentials, and Education Assessments
- Employment and Agency Referral
To ensure optimum client services, your file will remain active for 12 months. Contact your Career Advisor for any changes or updates.
