191 job-seekers attended this week’s Tuesday Job Fair at the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency. Job-seekers met with AWDA counselors and were screened before being interviewed by employers based on their qualifications. Employers in attendance included Signature Hotdogs, WillSERVE, Dompatci, Dreamsan, Atlanta Ambassador Force, A Plus Hospitality, Office Team and Cemetery Sales & Management, Inc. Representatives from the City of Atlanta, AARP, Prime America, and Atlanta Technical College were also on site.

AWDA hosts a Job Fair every Tuesday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Customers are screened for specific positions, allowed to interview based on credentials, and may be hired on the spot. Employers are invited to attend the weekly job fairs at no cost to their company or business. AWDA is also equipped to provide industry, occupation, or company specific job fairs at no extra cost to the employer. Our facility has a large multi-purpose room that can accommodate 200 people, an auditorium which will accommodate up to 500, high tech training rooms and computer labs, and interviewing rooms.
