The Colgate Bus visited the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency on Tuesday to provide free teeth cleaning and healthcare for kids attending the Gate City Day Nursery-Burch Center. AWDA would like to thank Anderson Kizzie, DDS, MSD and Carlton Jackson for teaching our kids about the importance of taking care of their teeth.
The Burch Center provides childcare services from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday in an educational, nurturing environment for children ages birth to Pre-K. All Pre-K eligible children must be 4 years of age by September 1st. Drop-off service is available to clients participating in AWDA programs or activities. Additionally, Atlanta residents who live or work in the area can permanently enroll children for a nominal weekly fee (meals included). For more information contact the Gate City Day Nursery-Elizabeth Burch Center at (404) 589-3548.
