Beltline Greenspace Training Class Prepares for Parks Projects
After six weeks of training, the
first Beltline Greenspace training class is prepared for employment opportunities at the Beltline Park and Trails Project. They received certifications in the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), Flagger Training, CPR, and OSHA 10.
The nationally recognized NCCER training, is a not for profit education foundation created to develop industry driven standardized craft training programs with portable credentials to help address the critical workforce shortage facing the construction industry.
On Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10:00, Mayor Reed will host a graduation Ceremony at City Hall for the first Beltline graduating class.
